SDA CRS+ 6 ohm Question

I'm sure this will be a quick answer to someone more knowledgeable than myself. Tried to search, but for some reason, I seem to suck at using the CP search feature.

I recently acquired a pair of nice CRS+ which I know are 6 ohm. I'm in the process of acquiring a nice little tube amp to drive them. However, on the back of the amp, there are the standard Ground, 4 ohm, 8 ohm and 16 ohm connectors. With the CRS+, should I hook them up to the 4 or 8 ohm connectors?

Also, is it safe to power them with a tube amp with only 8 ohm or 16 ohm outputs?

Thanks in advance for the help guys.

Try both taps to decide which sounds better to your ears.

Should be ok, but only on the 8 ohm tap.

Congrats on the +'s John. I love mine, I'm hoping to do the tl upgrade in January. Enjoy!

John, congrats on the CRS+ you should be very happy! After all the SDA's are well regarded today just as much as when they were produced, and to top it off they are the Compact Reference System component of the series.;)
