The price may be a bit higher than usual...but it's still a fair price. Those look like they're in excellent condition.

Phoenix is really suffering from the economic downturn. I hope this fella isn't selling because of that. They look like they are well worth the price to me. No affil..

I'm just referring to the crazy prices that 1.2TL's have been going for lately. We've all seen them sell in the 1k range numerous times recently.

With the updated tweets, that is a more than fair price. Those are fine speakers. (they don't make them anymore, either.) Sooner or later the supply will dry up as they find permanent homes.

That's what I'm afraid of. I'd like to snag a pair before they are all sold to people who will keep them for decades.

I just checked. The prices look the same unless I missed something.

I hate when they raise the price. He should have done his homework before posting the ad.

Thats what I was thinking. Arn't the poly switches supposed to prevent blown tweet's? I wonder if any of the MW's are scratchy or popping at high levels?
    My thoughts,

Polyswitches don't detect clipping, they respond to current. An overdriven 50W amplifier could fry the tweeters in a second, and they could still pass the "gently used" test by most reasonable definitions.

Always good to see SDA's stay in the family. That will be one heckuva road trip. At least you have somewhere to stay where you're headed. I slept in the back of a minivan in the owner's driveway on my last trip out. Long effin' trip.
