Just wondering if anyone has replaced the original tweeters and/or reboxed them to get a better look?

I had mine done about 15 years ago - all black semi gloss mica finish (same size box) w original grills. Also switched to a Vifa tweeter and had the cross overs rebuilt with newer components (and to match the tweeter). Reproduced a set of I stands in the matching fisinsh as well.

My original tweeters would always trip, and the speakers sounded slightly different when run in isolation and then compared. Now they are identical (after the cross over upgrade).

So they're not really Polk 10B's anymore.
