Pinnacle TOTL Towers/Center

Local pick-up only.
Every once in a while, I get something I'd rather not part with, but have to. These would have to outperform Amazings or AR-9's in order to stay. But these things are nice. I wish I had an application for them.
The Pinnacle "Classic Gold" Black ash towers are about the same footprint as RTA11t, about just as tall, and weigh just about as much. They have a 3/4 or 1" gold dome tweet, and two active 8" woofs. One woof is definitely tuned lower than the other cause one is acting a lot like a mid/woofer, and the other like a woofer. There is much too much nice midrange activity for that not to be the case. The bass is fairly deep and tight, but not record breakers that's for sure, so a sub might be in order if you're a REAL deep freak. Three large, angled (Pinnacle's exceptional trademark) ports are on the rear baffle. These are infinitely living room presentable, with only a minor ding on the back of one.
The Pinnacle "Classic Gold" Center is one big mother, and weighs a ton for a center channel speaker. It has 4 x 5 1/4" woofs and one of those gold dome tweets. No port loading on this baby. The cabinet has one ding but is living room presentable in my opinion anyway.
I had a lot of fun with these today, driving them with a massive old Onkyo TX-7000 receiver at 90wpc. It sounded great, especially in the near-field. All three are 1998 vintage, and represent about a $1,700 purchase back then.
$300 for all three speakers.

George,
Great buy for the holidays....you're practically giving these guys away! Some lucky Polkie is going to have a very nice Holiday present! Very nice speakers....I remember hearing these when they first came out!
Good luck with the 'sale' or should I say 'gift'?

Interested, but no car and sadly, no budget. From the sound of it it sounds like they aren't very power hungry, so my guess is they're relatively efficient. Someone will indeed be lucky.Home:

No, I have no dedicated mid on these. They look exactly the same though, with the deletion of the mid.

That's a heck of a deal. I've had a pair of PN5+'s for years, they are mighty mites. -

Looks a lot like the old PSB Century 800, and that was a fun speaker. Good opportunity to try something not so common, someone should snatch em up.Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.
