They sound great, although with more space it takes more volume to fill the space that I now have

It is a HUGE CC JF. And puts out very good sound. It's a 3 way speaker from Boston Accustics. The sub on the left is a Boston sub. It doesn't go as low as my Polk 400 but it holds its own.

They sound really good, but thank God I have the amp. I really don't think they would be able to keep up in this space without it.

:D Yup I got one of THOSE racks!:D But when you have a 130lb tv you don't want to put it on some cheap little fake wood stand that is buckling in the middle from the weight, since I just can't go out & replace both at the drop of a hat!

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Looking good Cathy. Is there any chance to hide the rear speaker wire or cover them with those wire covers that just stick to the wall and the wires tuck inside ? Overall nice setup, enjoy show.

or if not, get your rear channels' wires perpendicular to the couch with at least some tape. nobody will see the tape behind the couch. then when you feel obliged, you can look into sherard's advice.

i have one side surround speaker with bare 12 ga wire travelling down from a tiny hole in the ceiling. but it blends in well with the reddish-orange brick fireplace, so i lucked out. all my other wires are pretty much hidden as best as possible.

    enjoy your system cathy.
