Hi guys, I have a chance to get rid of the silly sub in my sig, and upgrade to a Mirage FRX-S10, for what I think is a reasonable price. I am about to start researching it, and I would love to include the opinions of the pros here before making the choice. I'm sure it's a step (or seven) above what I have, it's in good cosmetic condition, and I have dealt with this guy before, so I'm confident I won't get screwed. I just wondered if this is something I should jump on, or hold out a bit, and see what hits CL after everyone gets their holiday gifts, and maybe get something better?

What price are we talking about? It's a decent entry level HT sub, it'd be a huge upgrade from your Blose.

50 bucks, but if I hold out a couple more weeks, I might stumble onto a much better sub, for not much more than that... I didn't find much info on the sub, found some not so great opinions on the mirage speakers, but nothing about the sub.

I had a Mirage S12 sub and it was good with music and excellent for HT. For $50 I'd jump on it asap.

Thanks for the input guys, I think I'll get it, unless I can get the velodyne I just found... maybe I'll get both lol. My wife thinks this place made me crazy. I told her I had the disease all along, it was just dormant until I found other sufferers

Haha its so true. Everyone here acts like its audio in general that starts the disease. I think it starts as soon as you start looking at what other people have
