Hi everyone,
So last week, one of the 6550 tubes in my Jolida 502brc died. I replaced it 3 days ago (I bought a matched pair).
Yesterday, I started noticing a hum/buzz coming from the transformers. unfortunately, I don't know if the hum/buzz was there before, but I highly doubt it, I think I would have noticed.
The Jolida, along with a Cambridge 640c CD player is connected to a PS Audio Duet. A SW is connected to a different socket and into the preamp outs of the Jolida.
The hum/buzz is constant no matter the volume. There is also some almost unnoticeable buzz also coming from the speakers, but for this, you have to listen really close to notice.
Any thoughts as to why is this happening? Suggestions?
Thanks!
