MicroPRO 1000 on a shared 20 amp circuit.

I'm debating picking up MicroPRO 1000 to help complete my humble home theater, but I'm concerned about the 1200 watts of continuous power it can consume. The 1000 would be plugged into the same 20 amp circuit that the rest of my basement is run on - which includes a 50" plasma, Onkyo receiver, game consoles, a lamp or two, and perhaps other minor power-sucking oddities. Would using a sub with this large of amplifier cause me any power problems? I'd hate to be in the middle of a movie and having my breaker trip. =/

Don't think you'll have any problems. My two Micropro 4000's never tripped my breakers and I was running alot more stuff than you are. If I'm not mistaken a 20amp circuit is good for 2400 watts and unless you're running your system full blast you're good.

Gotta remember, it's capable of pulling 1200w but not all the time and in most peoples cases, never. Few people take their equipment to the redline.
