The Tokyo airport United Red Carpet Club is the biggest that I have seen in any airport. very nice and very large... and with a 3 hour layover, plenty of time for free cocktails to help me sleep on the 12 hour flight home! :D:D

Sounds nice but well beyond my means...never flown anything but coach anywhere. I love the spacious seating and the sumptuous accommodations and friendly agents and first rate baggage service, not to mention the gourmet food they serve back there....

Of course I am kidding. Hey, if you can afford that it sure makes the trip a lot more human and humane!

We hope to spend a week in Japan but will fly there from China.

I always lounge out there. Last time I flew over from USA, I stopped in there had nice hot shower, brushed teeth, and relaxed afterward to a very nice hot breakfast. I'm a Platinum member and I just hit 250k flying miles. Another very nice one is the one in Seoul, Korea.

Sure wish I was actually in Business Class. I was in economy plus (United) but still economy. I just get to go to the Red Carpet club on international flights because I fly a rediculous amount in the states.

    Back in the states now.

250k in one year!!!??? I'm usually 65k-75k actual miles flown per year. Not quite enough to get the United 1k benefits, but easily into the extra benefits of Premier Executive.
