Hi folks. I'm looking to replace my old Pioneer CSD9900 15" speakers and wanted some suggestions. I do like the larger size but probably need to upgrade soon. Info appreciated. They don't have to be Polk speakers necessarily. I'm kind of new to all of this so i don't know what to look for when buying speakers. Never really done it!

My first pair of 'good' speakers were Pioneer CSA700 with 12" woofers back around 74. Those speakers really made me appreciate trying to get good sounds out of a system.
Anyway, what are you looking for in a speaker? Size, sound, appearance, etc.? And what is your budget? I hate to say this, but you can easily spend over 100K for 2 speakers.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
