And i'm at work. Yesterday my conference calls went TERRIBLY, it's really frustrating when the "higher ups" that should be giving you instructions or keeping you in the loop, don't. I didn't look bad or do anything wrong, but the company i work for got a big 'ol slap across the face, and now it's my responsibility to take care of it, apparently.

I'm glad i have a job, but mannnnn... i'm pretty much on forced overtime for the next 2-3 months. 60 hour weeks here i come. I've put in 8 hours today, had already put in 53 hours monday through friday, and i'll be back in tomorrow. I get no weekend. :(

Just wanted to vent. ;)

Leaving in 20 minutes, then it's home to cook Beef Manhattan for a late dinner, watch a movie, read my new Grassroots Motorsports magazine, then hit the hay before i come back in, then go to finish the MX6. Wooooooo!!!!
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Hahahah, truth!!! I've been working Corporate America for years.... it's always great being on the bottom of the totem pole doing the work of superiors for the same pay as always!!! Ehh... this will look good on the old resume, though. I've been doing nothing but special projects and getting new systems running and supporting them for the last year and a half. It's a good thing i guess. :)
Hopefully they don't lay you off after you fix everything

I won't worry about that until they get me to train someone else on what i'm doing. If they get rid of me now, they're going to lose two huge clients and my unit will be disbanded. I have the most job security out of anyone in my unit, my manager included. :D

Ok, I'll come in and do it for you, and I'll split the pay with you. It's not that far to Indy from here, made the trip from here to Elkhart about 6 years ago to pick up a truck topper the forgot to put on the truck. I think it was like 6 hours or so.

Sucks to not have a break, especially on weekends. Hang in there, brother...look at the bright side: with the rampant unemployment, you're one of the few that has TOO much work, instead of too little!

They won't even know I'm there, and I'm pretty easy to train. Plus you still make half the cash for doing what ever you want

Honestly... there's enough work to keep us both occupied for 40 hour weeks.

I sit at about 220-250% of productivity goal, and i can still easily find 60 hours worth of work to do a week.

If you're seriously looking for a job (this seems a bit far to drive, though) PM me, and i'll get you through the application.

What would I be doing? I'm currently not working, and renting a... well to call it a shite hole would be an under statement. How's the school in the area. I am married and I have 3 kids, one in 1st grade 1 in preschool and 1 at home. The oldest has been diagnosed as bipolar and he has an awesomely patient teacher.

Start out in customer service, incoming calls at probably $12/hr. Schools in the area are pretty decent, and cost of living isn't that bad as long as you stay on the south end of the city.

Likely be at about $14.50 within a year. It's not easy work by any stretch, but if you've got a good work ethic, it's not bad.

Grassroots Mag. Awesome. Any vintage favorite race cars. Always parcial to the old GTP"s. Not exactly grassroot racing but still the best American racing. ALMS is a very close 2nd.

I'm at work tonight myself. But I'm not salary, and in a union, so it's not quite the same for me...

I'm more of a Group B Rally guy, myself. ;)

I like touring cars, though. German DTM, BTCC, American Grand Am, etc...

    I'll be running their $2010 Challenge. :D

I'd be far more pissed if i was salary. I'm not. Which is why they're going to soon find out that it would have been cheaper for the company if the people above me had just done their job the first time around.

40 hours of overtime each paycheck gets expensive for them.

Back when we had flu shots, I was working quite a bit of OT. I did the math on how much the government took out of that OT pay. It was upsetting. My so called 'societal responsibilities' hadn't increased any yet they took a lot of money each week. Wish I had just stayed home with my family.
