I just bought this Trend Net TE100-P11:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833156255
to replace Linksys WPS54GU2 which bricks this week (after 4 years of service). I was hesitant to go with this brand, but I thought at $35 it is worth a try. And it works well, it took me literally less than 15 minutes to configure and set it up using static IP. It prints in both Windows 7 and Mac OS environments.
It is on sale this month at Newegg with free shipping too. So, I thought I posted here in case you need a Print Server (btw, it does both parallel and USB, which a matter of convenience for me to have both).

I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

I just purchased this print server also but was unsuccessful in getting it to work on a Windows 7 machine. I was unable to add a port during setup. Worked fine on a XP machine. Any tricks required to get it to install?

Are you able to see the print server from WIN7 machine? i.e. find out the IP address from your router (if you have enabled DHCP). Then, from your WIN7, use your browser to see if you can access it by using its assigned IP address.
If so, from WIN7, go to Control Panel, Printer and Fax, add printer using its IP address (typically, if you are using the default router IP addy of 192.168.1.1) which should have been in the range of 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.****.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. Yes I was able to see the print server. The dynamically assigned IP of 192.168.1.6 was able to be seen via a web browser. I would think I would need a static IP address using your method. Customer server said to add a port manually. They did say that there were no Windows 7 compatible drivers. I will try the manually add a printer by IP approach. Thanks
