Hi All-
I am looking for advice from someone that knows far more about Home Theater than me, so thanks in advance. I have a 20 foot wide 25 foot deep living room, and am unsure which speakers/types I should select. I pretty much need advice on everything, the house is prewired for the system. I will be using the system to hook to my tv, mostly movies.
1. Is it better to have the speakers in the ceiling, or in the walls?
2. I am thinking of some combination of the Polk RC speakers, because I like the price, anyone have experience with all of them? Can you suggest a configuration?
3. Do I need a center or woofer?
Thanks again!

Welcome to CP!
1.If they're towers, keep them on the floor. If they're bookshelves, I'd prefer stands but wall mounted works fine too. What you're trying to achieve is getting the tweeters at near ear-level as you're sitting down.
2. No experience with'em.
3. Both! Make sure to keep the center-channel in the same series/lineup. It's ideal to keep everything 'timbre-matched' and as for the subwoofer well you'll need something to fill that room so I'm thinking a really good 10" or 12" model. Can we say SVS?
You're welcome!
