Monitor 70 on ebay

Why are the Monitor series on the Polk ebay store so cheep compared to the rest?

Also where can I get info on the Monitor series.

    They are the predecessor to the TSI series.. they are pretty much the same speaker with some different comestic looks and probably a slightly different sound but just as good. They used to occupy the price point that the TSI currently occupy. they are discontinued and an older model so they are cheaper than the current model.

    I bought the ones off of ebay at the polk store and honestly could never tell a difference between the refurbs and brand new. They are also older models so they would have a stock of them that they would need to sell out so they could put them up there. Work great for fronts!

    In the product Menu above on this site choose Recent/Vintage speakers and a list will appear of all previous Polk models....scroll down to the M series and click on any model...you will find an overview of the speaker and tons of user reviews for each: M30, M40, M50, M60 and M70s.
