    Are the Gold CD versions that much better than the standard ones? I have no experience with them.

    I have been tossing around whether I want to double dip and get the Yes: 90120 Gold CD.

    yes...
    as it was explained to me, instead of 2 million copies made from one master on aluminum, they make a limited amout of master quality recordings on a much better platform (gold)

    I want to start getting my HDCD,SACD, GOLD, XRCD, etc., collection ,well, collected !!


    I will be upgrading within the next few months (CDP) and I want to get my playlist tightened up

    any suggestions will be considered.....from rock to blues to classical.....I want a wide diversity of music

    Would these CDs yield a noticeable improvement in sound if played on an average Yamaha CD player (cannot remember the model I have...)?
