Hi guy just wanted to know if this might sound ok with a pair of rtia5 (if i ever get em back) in a very small room
If I got LSI 7's would it rock them? I think you can add an amp to it also
It may be my first reward for quiting smoking

Nearly forgot to ask , will this be a big improvement over stereo mode on my 607?

For LSi7's, no. Get an external amp for 4ohm loads.Truck setup

Can't imagine how well it'll play or how loud you can actually get it at. If you're going to listen to it at reasonable levels in a small room sure why not.Truck setup

Here the link
http://www.usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/AMFMStereoReceivers.asp
On the page it says its 4ohms stable . Is that the same as 4ohms ? does then mean the 50wpc @8ohms then doubles to 100wpc @4 ohms ? -

That's just the thing, it's 'stable'.
I personally wouldn't run it, given the volumes I listen to music at. I also doubt that receiver will be able to supply the current LSi's demand under heavy load, remember it's not all about "wattage".Truck setup

I had one for a while. It is a very sweet sounding little receiver. Think I paid like $60 for mine when Circuit City went out of business.

I'd be a little more apt to pick something like this up, than that...

But, i'm a little biased, admittedly.
But why don't you just piece together an entry level separates setup? Preamp of your choice coupled with an Adcom GFA-535 or something.I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.
