Ditto. I honestly think the term refurb is a term they use to limit the warranty on the older stock, but that they are likely brand spanking new (Speakers only - a refurb I-Sonic I bought was not brand new). I bought like 5 sets of speakers from Polkdirect and every one of them, for all the evidence I could see, were brand new.
I haven't heard a single report of any body else getting anything less.
Now one of the sets of LSi9's I got while brand new, were an older model with a different finish, so there is that chance for any models that had a change in the design, that you might get older stock, but I don't think they changed anything in the CSi5
    YMMV of course. :o

I just received my TSi400's and a pair of OWM3's from Polk Direct this afternoon. Everything looked brand new to me and sounds great. I did find one tiny little mark on the piano black top of one of the TSi400's, but it is barely noticeable. Very pleased with my purchase and the price can't be beat.
