Decided I was bored with my HT so I decided to work up some minor upgrades. I started today by ordering and installing some designer crown molding at the top of wall/ceiling. Link below for design # 3

My next big task will be doing the star ceiling, but probably just over my seating area. I don't think I need the entire room lit up like that. Stay tuned

Roger that, will work on some pics, once I get things really rolling. Still decided on what type of star kit to go with, or should I go Star laser projector.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

That is some cool stuff. I saw it in use a while back and was amazed when I found it was basically styrofoam. Looks really good and easy to work with from what I've seen.Testing

No,they make a paint,by day or with the lights on,looks normal, when the lights go off,you have the night sky, complete with meteors if you want.
Pretty cool stuff,I'll have to dig up a link for you. I know there is a company that comes out to do it and cutomizes the sky for you, planets and such.

The crown moulding should be a nice additon, as will a stary ceiling.
I just checked out your theatre, very nice. I'm sure your dual SVS' pressurize the room nicely. -

Did the front screen wall last night and the molding looks awesome. It came in completely white as mentioned and you can paint it any color you choose. I simply matched it with the wood stain of the rest of the molding. Very nice and gives it high end appeal sort of.

hey sherard, post up a pic from further back so we can see the stained molding you're referring to.
all you guys doing upgrades is ALMOST enough to get me off my duff and do the same. i need to at least paint my HT room. painting is the easy part. pulling the HT away from the walls is the tough part!
