Hi group,

My speaker setup. Pair of RTi8's in front. CSi5 in center. Pair of FXi3's at surrounds. NO SUBWOOFER yet. My current settings. Front's & center at large, and surrounds at small (& 60). Since I don't have any sub yet, is this a good setting? Or should I set the fronts on small and 60 or 80. Should I probably set the surrounds at 80. I watched Star Wars Episodes I and II at the current settings, and it was awesome. Receiver is a NAD T-747. Thanks.

Since you have no sub, why not just set them all to large?

I think you totally should set everything to large...

I'd set the fronts to large and the center and surrounds to small (80 hz).

I would set everything to large but the center.(this is what I do) With it being set to large the male voices may have too much bass and may sound throaty. But just experiment. It will be different to everyone and in different houses and set ups. Do what sounds good to you.

Thank you all for your replies. I'm trying all these scenario's until I get a sub. Thanks.
