Center Channel for VM30's

I just purchased a pair of VM30's from newegg.com and I'm wondering what if my current center channel speaker will be any good with them. I'm currently running the following:
Marantz SR6001 receiver
Kenwood 250 watt sub
RM6750 Satellites for the surrounds
JBL N24II's for the rear surrounds
JBL N-Center II
The VM30's are replacing my JBL N38's.
Any thoughts on this set-up? I thought about the VM20's, but they're hard to find now. If I spend $599 on polk speakers at crutchfield, I can get a free PSW111 sub to replace the kenwood listed above.

A single VM20 or VM10 will be the best match for your system. Check out the Polk Direct eBay store under the 'Where to buy' tab above. Welcome to the boards, and thanks for choosing Polk Audio!

Thanks Russ. Will my other speakers be ok? I have two more RM6750 speakers that I can replace the N24II's with. Then the system is all polk except the sub.

The RM's, although not a perfect match, will work great with the VM series on the front stage.

Thanks Russ. I will replace the JBL's with the RM's. I emailed Polk Direct to see if they'll sell just one VM20.

Give the VMs a chance to break in.I've had mine for about a year,they just keep on giving.They will losen up.Running the 20s for fronts and 30s for rears,and a Micro 3000 for bass.I know, its backwards.but check my pics in show case.Pics say a thousand words.I will get another 20 for a centre,and another 3000 to sit beside the 30s.Can't wait.I'll keep my eyes open for some 20s.Welcome to CP.Rec rm vm30 micro pro 3000 akai 2 channel. ht anthem MTX 5 channel anthem P2 statement anthem 325, 8 channel Martin Logan power amp for 4 ceiling ls900 2 and outdoor polks, 2 JL 110’s subs panasonic 65" plasma lsim 705’s , 706c, L200 and Control 4 garage rig monitor 10s crossovers by VR3, dynamat, RDO-194's, new drivers. psw 111 Pioneer 9040 BDP53fd 100 " screen Nakamichi HD projector, and Panasonic 65” plasma.

I called Polk Audio's ebay store and they are going to sell me a VM20. It should be here later this week. The final configuration will be:
Marantz 6001
Mains = VM30's
Center = VM20
Surrounds = RM6750 x 4
Kenwood subwoofer
I think the RM's will be fine as the surround speakers as they do not do a ton of work. Someday I'll get a new sub, because the kenwood isn't all that.
What's the typical break-in period for the VM series? -

Sorry about the hijacking.....Jim, Do the VM30's smooth out at all after break-in? I just picked up a pair and was planning to return them, they are too different from my LSI9's out of the box. They had a much highter WAF than the LSI15's.Mains - LSi9's
Center - LSiC
Surround - pair of TL3's
Amplification - Parasound 2125
AVR - Onkyo 706
CD/SACD - Onkyo DV-SP506
SUB - MartinLogan Abyss
55" Panasonic Viera TC-P55GT30 3D
Bluray - DMP-BDT310 Panasonic
