No green power light on PSW-650 =(

I noticed today that the green power indicator light on my PSW-650 is no longer working =( I've had the sub for about 1.5 years and have been running it with the power set to 'Auto'. Is it possible that the somewhat constant on/off over the last 1.5 years have blewn the bulb ?? Is this bulb easy to replace or do I need to have a Polk dealer look at this ? Any insights are highly appreciated.
Thanks,

Hello Marc,
Thanks for participating in the Forum. From your message I'm going to assume that the sub-woofer is working fine, just the LED is not functioning, correct? If so, then the bass amplifier needs to be replaced. The LED could be the problem or it could be the circuitry that controls the operation of the light. This can either be done by the dealer who sold the unit to you or with us directly. If you prefer working with us directly, please telephone me at 1-800-377-7655 extension 891 or via email at kswauger@polkaudio.com. I'm sorry this problem happened, but I'm sure we can straighten it out.

Ken,
Thanks for the quick response. You are accurate in assuming that the sub-woofer itself operates fine. Right after I noticed that the light was off I switched the unit
from power mode 'Auto' to 'On' and tested the sub-woofer with the Video essentials DVD. The sub-woofer seemed to operate fine but the green light would not
come on. I bought the unit locally at a SoundWaves store and would prefer to have them fix it if that is possible. That way I don' have to pay for shipping it to
you plus freight insurance and the whole deal. So what I'm getting from your reply is that even though only the light doesn't function properly the entire bass
amplifier needs to be replaced ?
Thanks again for the quick response,
-Marc
