Help Identifying Speakers

I have a set of old Polk Speakers and Im trying to find if their anygood or what their worth. On the back it says monitor series and the serial # is 5 68016. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hard to tell,, I'm guessing monitor 5's,,,judging by the width,,can you pull the grills and post a pic? Possibly a mon 7,,but too difficult for me,,maybe somone else with better eyes.

    well the serial number starts with a 5 so wouldn't it be a monitor 5 then?

    There are some variations though. Those pics are not much help.

    Yes those are monitor 5's with sl2000 tweeter. They are excellent speakers for their size, not really worth much in cash value though, $50-125 depending on condition.
    Most of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else - :rolleyes:

    I recently paid $85 for a set in Excellent near mint condition with Peerless Tweets.

    Those pictures gave me an instant headache. You need a flash on that camera or at least a steadier shot. Damn--I'm off to get some aspirin now....

    FYI, the other thing that helps with identifying a speaker are its measurements.
