Agreed headrott. I have the vinyl from back in the 80s when the album first came out -- from what I understand they mucked up the CD by inserting songs between some of the ones from the original vinyl. Adding songs is one thing, but changing the original 'feel' of the album isn't a great idea, IMO.

The "Re-release" was mucked up. Thankfully, I bought the original Japanese CD back in 1990 and still own that one. It is definately worth having and sounds great (without any added songs where they shouldn't be). If you can get the Japanese CD, buy it. I wouldn't bother with the Re-release you brought up however.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

And the 'updating' of Jon's head they did on the back cover looks pretty ridiculous!

Anger leads to high blood pressure, heart disease, and depression. Give yourself the gift of "get over it." Pessimism is easy, it's being optimistic that requires tenacity.

As much as I love him, Bob Dylan's Christmas album is gotta be the worst in the history of the human race

I do NOT like modern takes on classic Christmas music. That's why they call them "classics."
