I rate it fair and not nearly as good as past albums. I just wasn't that impressed. Sounds like one of those albums they had to put out to meet contract terms and were hard-pressed for decent material. JMHO.DKG999

A mix of rock and blues in my opinion, with a hint of jazz for good measure!DKG999

I do enjoy MK's Ragpickers Dream, not new by any means but a very nice redbook.

RT1 - I think Ragpicker's Dream and Shangri La are some of my favorites of MK's work post Dire Straits. It just seemed when listening to Get Lucky that it felt rushed and the material just wasn't up to the usual standards. That's why I wondered if they had a contractual committment to do another album and just had to get it done.DKG999

I hear ya Doug, I have another one, cant recall the title.......remnants of PF liquor....
something with Gold in the title?? Anyway, I feel the same way about that one, hardly leaves the drawer, not really bad as you say, just not one my favorites.

I just bought this one today. After 2 listenings I'd say it's ok, but nothing stellar. Overall, I found the music pretty laid back, so depending on the mood it might be just the ticket.Political Correctness'.........defined
