Swung by a used book/music shop this AM.....

I laugh at these places who are trying to cash in on the vinyl craze so they are trying to price things accordingly. I'm watching this rocket scientist put out a couple of boxes and pricing them...

In the 'collectible' section....a bunch of crap....all 15 bucks a whack....Im talking Genesis, Scorpions....**** that you can find all you want a buck each anywhere...'

Go back to the bins....lesse what we got here: Oh, how about some minty Willie Nelson, Shotgun Willie, Stardust (half speed mastered no less)....Duke Ellington Indigos (Columbia early Masterworks 6 eye pressing minty)...some RCA Living Stereos...the Nutcracker, Belafonte at Carnegie (soaked me 2 bucks for that one)....a few more RCA Red Seals by Art Fiedler....a few more 6 eye Columbias...

A veritable shitload of OLD MINT Mono LP's (I left those because much as I want to....I don't get jazzed about mono)

Had about thirty LP's...got up to the register...and half off for military on Veterans Day....16 bucks. Heh Heh Heh

Man, you GOTTA love people who don't know what they are doing.

    I'd love to see that mono stuff. I've still got a single EV Aristocrat corner horn and Bogen tube mono setup just sitting there.

    If multi-channel is only worthwhile if you grow 3 (or 5) more ears - is mono for those who are half deaf???
