I should know the answer to this by now.. having been part of this group for such a long time.

I want to redo the crossovers in my SDA 2B's to the 4.1TL version. and of course that requires the RD0-198 tweeter to do so.

Is the RD0-198 a direct drop in tweeter or do mods have to be made to the cab? I know mods have to be made to the x-over, but how about the hole where the current tweeter lives?

then.. when ordering the 198's from Polk.. what tweeter do I ask for? Do I just mention that i need the RD0-198 or is there some tri laminate name for it?

    The 198 drops right in.

IIRC, the only other change is that one of the spades is a different size on the 198. Not a difficult fix. This isn't the right way to fix it, but shows the difference: http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showpost.php?p=964436&postcount=62

Face is correct, you will need to change one spade terminal.
