As title says, looking for one. I'll pony up the $280 if i have to, to buy a new one, just wondering if anyone can cut me a deal on one that they may have already upgraded from, or if anyone stocked up on the $99 BB floor model dealie.

    I have 3 bdp 51fd with update Fw 3.02 not the new 3.17. Units are 10/10 but not in sealed box so I have to say 9/10. 2 of them are sitting on the audio shelf doing really nothing. I used one of the 51fd analog for 2 channel music playback and the BDP95fd & the DV58ai for redbook and Blu-ray.

    Just bought 2 of the BD 2500 BTCI transport, so I may move one of the BDP51fd to make some room. I paid $149.00 + tax. No greasy finger print, no nothing.

    You can have it for what I've paid for plus shipping. Less than that I do not think it worth the time packing and driving to UPS store. I believe they have 2 or 3 years ex-tended warranty on them. Your call.

    As far as i know. I had to bow out for the moment on his unit because my GTP-400 STILL hasn't sold. :p

    He said he would have to check with the OP before he would sell it to me.

    Yeah, i was. I'm not ready to buy now, though. Been having car troubles left and right, and nobody seems to want a ridiculously cheap decent phono stage preamp. :p

    Just a fyi...if any of you guys need the latest firmware update disk for the bdp 51fd,I have a new one sitting in the closet. Seems the wife went out and ordered the bdp 320 after not being able to find the 51. Now I need to order the disk for that one. Oh well, anyway, the PQ and SQ are supposedly the same in the two players. Amazon has the 320 at 219. Pretty good price.
