Hi, its been a while since ive been on here but my boss purchased a apt for retirement in florida and hes letting me do the a/v rig. I am basically starting from scratch. I personaly have polk LSI ,VM and rtiA series, and velodyne at home. I'm looking to make his apt sound amazing for his retirement the contractors are working on the renovating atm so its the perfect time to start looking for audio components. If you know of good deals that is key. bang for buck is my quest here. I want any recommendations as far as preamps poweramps, number of speakers. will I need a sub? all the way to wall switched sliders and receiver controllers/in wall only. I can upload a link to the layout if it will help you better. He got raped on the AV in his apt in NY. the subcontractors took advantage of him and although it sounds good I think with your help I can make a multi room rig thats 10x better and costs 10x less. Ive never done any inwall multi room setups before so i really need your suggestions. basically everything from the preamp to the wall controllers and in between. Lets build the ultimate palm beach retirement home sound system!

    How many rooms are you planning? Critical listening in all? Will one be a dedicated HT, or a casual/combo use room? How big are the rooms? Do you need good bass in each room? Do you need to have the rooms doing mutiple sources at the same time?
