If we reversed engineered an alien spacecraft dont you think polk should get first dibs on the speakers?

    When I go to bed,I say a few prayers....for things that most would pray for,and some they wouldn't.
    One of those prayers is that when I click on club polk,I won't see posts like this.

    There was a famous Sci-fi writer, perhaps some of you know him...he is the author of Solaris, etc. (Stanislaw Lem)....Lem also wrote a book of Sci-fi literary criticism...in it he muses that most Sci-fi writers anthropomorphize almost all the alien beings they write about and that if we 'actually' met some real Aliens they would really be "ALIEN"...in other words it would be hard for us to UNDERSTAND almost anything about them.

    That was the original point of the Novel, Solaris...and perhaps not the movie.
