Law Abiding Citizen gets a solid 4 out of five stars from me. If the ending had been different, I would easily be raving 5. I love the movie.

The social and legal message of the movie really struck a cord with me, especially given my own experience working on criminal cases. If you think our current legal system needs some reform or follows a sometimes misguided sense of justice, then you need to see this movie.

Let me say this about the ending. The whole movie kept me pumped until the end, and then it became cliche'. If the director and writers had decided to make a movie without a happy ending where the anti-hero wins, then that would have been perfect. Of course, the ending I have in mind may have skewed the overall message of the movie and instilled another, but I am sure that could be remedied with some good storytelling.

Despite the ending, the movie was wholly satisfying.

I saw it last week. Story line was great, execution is a bit unbelievable.

Is he the dude who played King of SPARTAN in 300? (could have google it, but too lazy..he he)
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

    Yes.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Fantastic movie, but I agree on the ending as well, and it sounds like I was looking for the same ending as you.

    **** Spoiler Alert ***

I thought it was a bit cliche as well. Also, the part where they went for the cheap drama moment by killing the chick, that's where I could see where they were going with the ending and that I wasn't going to like it. I don't like cheap drama like that and when they kill kids and stuff in movies - that's an easy quick way to get an emotional reaction out of people...

Just watched it. Great effin flick. The part when the jodge answered the phone was freaking badass. Got my attention real fast.

    4 Stars for sure.

Interesting twists and turns but I was not blown away by the ending!
    I'd give it 3.75 out of 5
