I have a locked up Dell laptop and need a XP Professional disc to borrow to reformat the computer. I have the original code, but don't have the disc. Can anyone lend me one for a couple days? Thanks, Jeff

I think I've got one at the office, but I'm in Colorado. I could send it to you tomorrow. You don't need it right away?"Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason."

If'n my intronet were faster I could upload an ISO. Maybe someone else can? Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

Seeclear, I am in no hurry. PM me if you find a copy. Thanks, Jeff

Locked up as in password or messed up operating system? -
I'll be at the office at noon, that's 2 pm east coast time. PM me your address and if I have it there I'll burn a copy and drop it in the mail. I'm pretty sure there is a copy there, the main question is can I find it in my office."Don't forget to change your politician. OK, got the disc, but I haven't heard from you to give me your mailing address. What say you?"Don't forget to change your politician. They are like diapers they need to be changed regularly, and for the same reason."

Sami, admin password is locked and I have no clue what it is.
Seeclear, PM sent. Thanks -
Does hitting CNTL-F11 (repeatedly for good measure) during BIOS bootup bring up a recovery option?

Easy fix. Search for file cd080802 and burn the ISO image (if it is zip-file, unzip it first) to a CD, boot it. It will let you clear all the user passwords.
Here's one download:

This can be worked around. Do you have access to a cd burner?
Try this:

RTi A9 - Fronts.
CSi5 - Center.
RTi A3 - Surrounds.
DSW microPRO 4000 - Subwoofer. -
Seeclear: I received the disc today. Thanks
The password reset looks complicated to me. I don't care about anything on the computer other than the drivers. If I use the XP disc on the Dell, will it automatically find all the drivers I need?
Thanks for all the responses. I know nothing about computers.

No. XP does have drivers for some devices, especially older ones, but not all. You should be able to download any drivers you need from dell's site.

So long as your Ethernet card gets installed with XP you should be fine. Most of the drivers should be available from Windows Update.Onkyo TX-SR806 - Receiver.
