Bipole vs. Dipole
I did a quick search and did not find exactly what I was looking for, so I apologize in advance if this has been discussed in great detail.
Ok, so to my question. I have a 16x17 home theater room. I am upgrading to 7.1 so I am adding 2 more speakers to the side. Currently I have 2 RT 800i front speakers with a CS 400i center channel. I have 2 fx 300i rear speakers and just bought 2 fx 30i (I think that's what the are) speakers for the sides. Now to the real question at hand.
What would you recommend for the dipole/bipole setting? Dipole on sides and bipole in rear? Is there an optimal setting, or should I just listen to them to see what sounds best?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
