Clydedrexl136 is the user name....... avoid at all cost.

I inquired about some SVS subs he had listed hoping to make a deal but nothing ever materialized.

Now over a week later I get several unsolicited threatening emails.....really some bizarre profanity laced threatening ramblings that I cant paste here.

I've contacted Audiogon and the local authorities.

Just a heads up.

    Thank you for the head-up.

These kind of behavior will not be tolerated by the A'gon adm.

Two years ago, I bought a NIB BAT VK20 from a seller who had at that time over few hundred good feebacks. The seller was a re-seller who made a living by selling gear out of his house in Florida. Due to his "inaccurate disclosure, I filed for a dispute to have my money back. He finally had to offer to refund my money or he would be suspended from selling over A'gon.

Sorry to hear abt your bad experience.

Not to doubt your story at all, but I bought my Adcom GCD-750 from him, and spoke with him on the phone for about 30 mins. I can only report a positive transaction. Of course times are a bit different now than 2 years ago, so maybe business is slow and he is feeling the squeeze. That shouldn't be an excuse for poor behavior, but I have learned that we don't always understand everything that is happening, so sometimes it is just best to look past such things.

Perhaps an e-mail back to him asking what is wrong. Looks like he has strong feedback.

I did have some nice communication with the guy, he responded to all my emails.

I decided to not purchase his two 20-39's but made him an offer on his ultra which he politely declined.

Then today I get re-responses to my emails. Edited for CP.

Gary, go -uck yourself. There is a reason my feedback on audiogon is PERFECT and you have ZERO feedback. You are a child molestor.

Talked to the wife and she has agreed to swing by and pick them up Sunday on her way home. Not sure of the time right now but we can work that out later.

Send me an invoice through Paypal my ID is mgth@lcisp.com ....Name on the account is Gary Hargrove.

I'm leaving here at 6:30 PM to go to work and will not have computer access until Wednesday morning around 7:30 so I'll get you paid then.

I'll need your physical address and a phone #.

    Regards, Gary

My bottom dollar is 38 cents. If you can come up with 38 cents, the Ultra is yours.

God, what kind of an -sshole sends a seller on audiogon (6) Goddamn emails, 2 of which he basically promises to purchase the subwoofers, and then just VANISHES INTO THIN AIR, will not return voicemail after voicemail left on his phone. Will not even return an email. You know what Gary, I am a big believer in Kharma:
Good Kharma:Good things happen to Good people
Bad Kharma :Bad things happen to Bad people.

Gary, you are a Bad Person. Bad Kharma will certainly be following you around.

    Yeah I thought you disappeared:)

In the three days since I emailed you about the 20-39's I've had time to move my 25-31 to the back of my room to see what it would sound like. I did not like the results so running two subs is not going to work for me.

I am interested in your CS ultra to replace my 25-31 and would like to make an offer of $450 Paypaled and picked up at your location Saturday afternoon. I will be accompanying my wife on her trip so I would pick it up in person.

If you can do that send a invoice to the same account.

I'm sorry, but his responses made me laugh out loud. They're so over the top, you'd almost think he was just messing with you. Seriously... he called you a child molester over an Audiogon transaction. Wow.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
