Looking to setup a secondary 2ch. audio room, with pending SDA's, and came across an older HK Citation 5.0 and Signature 2.0 multi-channel preamps. Other than looking almost identical, does anyone know anything about these items, and in particular which would be the superior? The only info I can find on both is that they were co-developed by Madrigal. Thanks.

I have a Signature 2.1 which is a 5 channel amp. I used it to power my SDA's for a while and it did a decent job. I currently use 2 channels for my center channel and 2 channels for the rears in my HT set up and no complaints for HT duty.

    Hi Scott,

just saw your old post, i just got a used HK sig 2.1 with my sda 2a. the amp tripped and I tried it again w/o the interconnect cable and it went well. do you know if the sig 2.1 is common ground? are you using your sda interconnect cable?
