Excellent Karma. For those that may not know, both netflix and Blockbuster have either DVE or Avia available for rent. I have DVE for SD and Spears & Munsil for BD.
You will be amazed at the difference that simply adjusting your picture settings can make in PQ and these discs have audio setup test tones.

I'm not in, as I already own it. Just wanted to warn the person who ends up with DVE not to use its speaker tests tones to calibrate. The speaker tones are slightly off, though consistent from channel to channel, and the subwoofer tone doesn't account for the 10dB LFE boost done during decoding, meaning your calibrated level will be roughly 7dB off from true reference using a C-weighted meter. The subwoofer tone is also not properly band-limited, meaning that any room-induced peaks below 40Hz can greatly impact the level readings you get. Just a caveat.
    Equipment list:
    Onkyo TX-NR3010 9.2 AVR
    Emotiva XPA-3 amp
Polk RTi70 mains, CSi40 center, RTi38 surrounds, RTi28 rears and heights

    DarbeeVision DVP5000 video processor
