this place is turning into Facebook.. where by people post ANYTHING and EVERY damn thing they do. Anyone have friends on FB that do that? annoying

Yes, but on Facebook there is an ignore feature for your friends' "updates" which you can choose on a friend by friend basis. I use that quite a bit for those folks who have to announce to the world how great their afternoon latte is.

Its not like the 'ignore' feature here...its just a lot more selective. They're still your 'friend' but you don't have to wade through 25 senseless updates a day...and the best part is they have no idea.

This is breathtaking to be here while this is actually happening. The kind of moment that stays with you your whole life. I remember where I was when the Dodgers moved from Brooklyn. I remember exactly where I was and who I was with when JFK was shot. I remember exactly where and who I was with for the 9-11 attacks. And now I have this moment.

    Brett, you're awesome man.

I don't see that kind of activity much on my Facebook--If anything its them letting people know thier heading out to such and such a place (I guess in case somebody wants to meet up). The most annoying thing I find is the games people play, The Mafia Wars and Food fights, join my cause, or What kind of Celeb Are U? games. Those are the ones I recently discovered I can start blocking. Now its much more civilized and easier to catch up.

If you want minute by minute updates-use Twitter.
