Started a new job and finished out the old gigs I had lined up. Been working non stop the last few weeks but seems to be slowing down now. I had 2 Karmas for lps, but have not got around to doing anything for them. I will be sending these out soon. Getting off at 6pm and then off to train till late every night has not allowed me any free time. I am now off on Thurs. and Sun. so I will have time to complete this. Thanks.

Congrats on the new job. What is the new job?

When I say train, I am talking about the last of my personal training clients. My new job is one that fits me perfectly. I now work at a really nice pawn shop. A nice relaxing job for once. This store is not like most pawn shops. Sure we have alot of the same ol' stuff as your average pawn shop but we also buy really nice stuff that you will not see in your run of the mill shop. Lets just say that it's audio heaven. Right now we are sitting on tons of kick **** gear. Some of the gear is for sale and the rest is being collected like people here collect gear.
So far I have upgraded my system with these 'new to me' items.
-Denon 5803 receiver
-Mission 764 speakers
-Classe Model 30 preamp (not in use right now, actually still at store)
-Classe Model 70 amp -

I know you say you live in Richmond but that sounds like a Beverley Hills Pawn shop to me...who pawns that kind of stuff!
Congrats on the job...you could use a rest but don't get 'soft' on us!

Well now my M10b are gone. A moment of silence please........................................
Ok, now that that is out of the way I can continue. I traded my M10 for a Kenwood M-1 amp and a Technics Sl-210 tt. Both are in excellent condition and work as they should. Sometime this week in the evening I am going to have to try out the Kenwwood amp for its Sigma Drive and see what it's all about. You have to run a third wire from a set of dedicated +,- terminals for the L and R speakers on the back. You add the extra wire for this to cause the amp to engage the Sigma drive depending on the dynamic range & power required. I have no need for this amp but I'm sure I will find a home for it eventually. I just may offer it up for a cd or dvd player trade.
Where I work is not even close to a Beverly Hills pawn shop. We just happen to be right in the middle of Richmond in between downtown and Short Pump (a very expensive area). With the economy the way it is, we see tons of 'not so ordinary' items. We happen to take specialty items other shops will not even consider. That's what brings all the nice goodies. The other shops want the same ol' stuff that sells quick but does not bring much in return.
