I was not aware of this and may have missed something but in talking to Polk today I found out that within the last month Ken S has retired. I dealt with him on and off for 20 years and I must say he seemed to be a super individual. I used to give him a hard time about being there since before dirt was invented as it seemed like he was there forever. When ya going to retire, I would ask. he would say 'i don't know, thinking about it alittle" Now boom, he is gone. I remember in the early 90s when he just had me send in my crossovers from my 10s and he just rebuilt them, for no charge. Always answered my stupid and annoying questions and was always a pleasure. it is almost like an era gone by. keith

I wasn't too sure if he already did since that previous discussion.

    Cheers!

There was an announcement from Al Ballard in the clubhouse (IIRC) that he would retire at the end of Sept. He still pops in from time to time under his alias.

Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it.
