phono set up problem

:(I purchased a Project Debut III turntable and have had a difficult time setting up the tracking force and anti-skate. Once I have the tracking force set no matter where or how I set up the anti-skate it will pull the arm off the record.
Now if I set the anti-skate where its supposed to be, then set the tracking force afterwards it worked fine even with a test record, the hi fi news review.
If any experts would like the chime in, please do.

Fan effing tastic! That was great George, I can see from the video where I went wrong. I will try it out and let you know the results. By the way, if anyone else reads this, the Project set up manual somewhat sucks.

George you are indeed a master. Got home, it took me all of 5 minutes to resetup the turntable and wallah! I just listened to Brian Wilson's Smile on vinyl for the first time. What an experience! It simply nailed it, what vinyl does to harmony, far superior to cd. Also, so nice to back to listening to full sides of an album, the way it was meant to be.
George, I owe you a pick from George standard vinyl list. Nothing over $10.

Same for Rega TT. Seems they write these manuals with the expectation you already know what you are doing.

Anti Skate/bias tracking ...what??????????. I haven't touched a record player since Fisher Price 30 years ago.
