I was just reading an article about Halloween Specials, so I thought I'd ask the group : What Halloween specials (either standalone or part of a regular TV show) do you remember most from your childhood? (I think "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" goes without saying.)

The one that immediately popped into my mind was Growing Pains (I was young, gimme a break), the one where Mike gives a hitchhiking girl a ride home, only to find her "home" is a cemetery and she was actually a ghost. I was only like, 10 when that episode aired, and it scared the CRAP outta me.

I also remember the Garfield Halloween special ("all that candy candy candy candy candy!") and vaguely remember the show Roseanne having some good Halloween episodes.

I know we have quite the age range on this here board so I imagine people have some pretty varied Halloween TV memories, so let's hear 'em!
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I was in a school play when I was a kid (Grade 6 I think), "The Great Pumpkin" and played Linus with a cute little blonde from Sweden who played Sally. The rest is history. :D

Growing up I think it rained 90% of the time during Halloween. That was in southern ONT.

The Adventures of Pete and Pete... "Halloweenie"

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
