Original SDA 1's and SDA 1A's had Dimensional tweeters, which were arranged horizontally, rather then vertically, like the 1B's and 1C's.

The 1B's and the 1C's had different style cabinets...the 1B's cabinet was all woodgrain finish, and the 1C's have cloth side panels and wood tops. The 1C Studio's(yours), had all black cabinets.

As far as I know, there weren't any 1B Studio's.

Those are SDA 1C "studio version", they respond nicely to RDO replacement tweeters,, thrive on quality caps and resistors, and make sweet, sweet music with tube power.;)
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

Make sure that it is a common ground amp. Other than that, it wouldn't be my choice, but then again, I'm not you. I hope you like the speakers.

I worked on a Denon POA before. It has relay on the outputs so I would just jumper the grounds. It is common ground, and has some A$$ to drive those SDA pretty damn good.
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Ben, there's a difference between having a$$ and sounding good.
