Hi Everyone,

Thanks to everyone for the help/valuable suggestions in the following thread regarding the 5.1 setup using Polk with Pioneer 819 receiver.
http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89715

Just as I was about to order a 5.1 Setup using Polk and Pioneer with the Polk CS1 center speaker I noticed some reviews from the net from Marcelo (hyperlinks given below) quoting that these CS1 and R50 were actually 4 ohm impedance speakers and not 8 ohms as specified by Polk. The review quotes that there would be problems with this setup.

I am planning for Pioneer receiver 819 which states its impedance as 8 ohm. If these nuances in the reviews are indeed true and if these have been misquoted as 8 ohm will there be a problem going with the Pioneer receiver. Are there any receivers which gives out 4 to 8 Ohm range impedance ?

Kind of feeling odd have to hold of on the last minute. It would be great if someone can help on this. If anyone has already set this up and it is working fine then please do let me know I can go ahead with it without much of a thought.

I have the CS 1 and I am running it off of a yamaha 665 at 8ohms.. so that should be fine.. i think you should be fine with the R50s as well but perhaps somebody else could say for sure.
