Hi. I need to replace a tweeter that is buzzing a bit on my Polk 10b. I have two questions.
1. I unscrewed it and saw that it is attached by little clamps. How does one get the cone off?
2. Where do I go to find a replacement cone? Thanks

avigoldstein, pretty sure you would have to replace the entire tweeter.. and since you're at it.. it would make sense to replace the tweeter in the other 10b speaker as well.

Do you know what the model number is for the tweeter? it will say on the back of it.. most common are SL2000

there is a replacement tweeter available from Polk Audio customer service.

call the number and tell them you are a club Polk member for a discount on the tweeter(s).

Do you know why the tweeter is buzzing? Is the crossover okay or did you have an amp that was overdriven?

Oops, sorry, guys. It's one of the drivers, not the tweeter!

Good point, I would do a swap around to prove the bad tweeter first and if the tweeter is really bad, as dangerboy points out make sure you change them both as you don't want to mix and match old with new.

    Cheers!
