anybody have one of these? it's the square plug along with the round plug, on each end. thanks! mike. mnich21@bellsouth.net

    Sorry that is the Original Interconnect for SDA speakers from
    Polk and they are not making them anymore.

    If you want I can make you a clone one like this...

    yes, yes, yes:lol::lol::lol: how much. i just got a pair of sda 2's. i am already marveling at their imaging. i can't wait to hear what everybody has been talking about. thanks for the response! :cool: :D BTW I'll need aboot 20 feet.

    easy, slow down, Let me tell you what. What kind of cable would
    you prefer to be customize:
    1. a Mit terminator speaker wire.
    2. a Monster cable speaker wire.
    3. a 14 gauge speaker wire(ordinary from Radio shack)
    4. the same wire as the Original Polk like the first pic above.
    5. or the same as the second pic quality wire.

    It is up to you how much your budget. Just let me know.

    I think you only need 1 wire. It is a pin and blade connection but only the blade carries a signal. The pin only comes into play if you are using That special cable with the transformer in it.

    Your lucky to scored a 2.3TL for $650.00. I got my 2.3TL for $1500 including shipping.

    Well if you modify the twin blade cable you will cut the whole end that plug to the speakers and change to a modified pin/blade, I would say keep it as it is or sell that cable at ebay and make money instead.

    I can make you one with the same speaker wire with gold pin tips. Your costs will be:$40.00+shipping.
    List of materials:
    Lead $.50 or free(discount as Member of the clubpolk)
    Pin tips(pair)$6.00
    Blade pin(pair)$3.00
    Shrinkable tubes $7.00
    Speaker wires $14.00 (Likely same quality as the Original Polk cable) 20feet ,14gauge.
    Labor charges $10.00
    + Shipping

    The quality as the Original Polk Cable is much heavier than the one that I sent it to Sean, so that means a little more on shipping.

    its the same set that was for sale a couple of weeks ago. i put a add in the flea market with the ladies number posted. well she called me back sat. afternoon and said she lowerd the price to $650 and wanted to know if i was still interested in them. she was going to take them to consiment(sp) shop. i will let you know about the cable.

    For Scotts purposes he probably would want to hook up both pins even though only one is required. The reason is that the grounds are not tied directly together on his amps. To be safe he should probably use a 1:1 transformer as well. (like the original polk isolation cable. I think I still have the info on the xformer if anyone needs it.

    type same as Polk Original.

    I can build one like this for ya, but the Isolation transformer alone costs around $35.00 + the pin/blade interconect cable.

    You sure about the length? Two to three feet will be used just to run up the backs from the floor to the connection points. Wire is cheap...

    Personally I'd go a minimum of 12', if not for your current set-up, maybe for a future one. Splitting SDA's out at least 6' enhances their effect IMO and a little more doesn't hurt.
