Picked up an HK AVR7000 $100

Putting together a 2-channel system for my mom. She bought the RT1000i's from me. I tried to convince her that she never has liked stereos or cared about speakers but when she saw the RT1000's in mint condition, she thought they were 'beautiful' and I couldn't talk her out of them.
Went amp hunting and picked up an HK AVR7000 in mint condition. I think it's going to be too deep for her TV cabinet so I might end trading her my SONY DA333ES and using the HK in my office rig. Not quite an even trade but she doesn't care.

DAMN....100 bucks! That's a steal of a lifetime I think....I couldn't find those anywhere near that price. It's a bit dated, but looked to be a powerhouse when it came out! Enjoy, and nice trade

It appears it was a $1,700 AVR in its day (9 years back). 110wpc. It is a TANK. I am interested to hear how the Polks sound compared to the Sony ES. The Sony tends to make them sound shrill IMO.____________________________________________________________
