I have a Marantz MRT 625
for $25.00 (includes shipping)
needs some work
needs a belt and
cartridge (or replacement stylus for a Grado that is installed already)

Well not sure i seen a few new ones for about 75 bucks.
Don't want to spend much as i may only use it one time
so a cheap one is what i'm looking for.

Guy's I was recently in and independent audio store last week and the guy had a very good starter tt rig for about 300 dollars,,and I mean very good,, just goes to show that you don't have to spend a fortune to get into good sound,,use the KISS method.I am convinced that you can have an exceptional analog front end for not alot of money.JC approves....he told me so. Nevermind. What I have to offer is a few steps above entry. Hey! The Turntable is just the start of the fun. Next comes speed controllers, different cartidges, cleaning machines, phono preamps, isolation bases, lots of cleaning fluids for all those boxes and boxes and boxes of molded albums you'll find at yard sales and GW & thrift stores.
