I just picked up the special edition of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. What a huge improvement over the first release. The video is awesome. The new 5.1 sountrack sounds very good and clear, but it's not a special effects bonanza.
It has a ton of special features, but I haven't had time to check them out.
It's a must buy for Monty Python fans!

I bought this set last night and was very pleased with the remix. I have a Toshiba 3109 and found that I have the subtitle problem.This is where the subtitles start appearing while they are shut off and it becomes very distracting. Here is a link to a discussion on this problem. Looks like it is widespread and you will find a summary of the various players affected by it.

John, etc: This is actually playing at The Charles Theater here in Baltimore, you know? They have theatrically released this new longer remastered cut to selected theaters around the country to coincide with the DVD release. It would be worth seeing on the big screen (again).
