Logitech Harmony 890 Pro. Power on delay issues

I got this remote a few months ago to make it easier for my fiance to work all the components in the system. For the most part it seems to have worked, but she continues to have some problems. The biggest one is the long delay in some components turning on. If you dont have the remote facing the components the whole time, it screws up the power on process and some components wont turn on or they are not in the right configuration for a given activity (like watching TV or a DVD). Now, I suppose I could just reiterate what she needs to do to keep from having issues (as I rarely have any problems), but that is probably not the right way to handle it
So, I think there is some way to shorten the delay for the power on sequence. Can anyone with a Harmony remote (preferrable an 890 pro) tell me how I go about changing this in the setup software for the remote? Thanks!

Funny my wife has the same problem at times with a harmony remote. I love harmony remotes but they are a bit slow turning everything on,and understandable so due to fact they are turning several things on and making sure they are in the correct mode. The biggest thing I can add, if your's does the same thing is don't turn on while sitting down. Females like to multi task turning on TV while sitting, "Try" to get them to sit first then turn on.
Sorry I haven't found a better solution to this issue.

Hey it must be a women deal. My wife screws it up once a week. I find you do have to aim and it is best if you do sit and shoot from there. From the beginning turn on was slow, but again I am turning on three units. By far the best remote I have had.Oppo bdp 93 Blue Ray
