Has anyone tried (and had any luck) in removing a tweeter from one housing and transplanting it to another?

Most specifically a SL6001 or so into the housing of a SL6506.

? Harmon Kardon AVR 55 (dead; replacing with Onkyo TX NR-616)
? Polk RTA 11TL's (FR and FL)
? Polk TSi200's (RR and RL)
? Polk CS10 (Center)
? Polk PSW-350
? Grado SR-60i Headphones
? Fii0 E5 headphone amp
? iPod touch (8 gig)
? iPod Classic (80 gig)
? Mac Mini (as media server)
? xbox 360

    Nobody? Am I posting this in the wrong spot, or has no one tried this?
    I couldn't find much but the two tweeters appear to be the same except for the casing...

    No... but i have some spare tweets from my AR Frankenspeakers that you can have...
    I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

    Hrmmm... no info yet. I need to find my flathead screwdriver to open them up.

    I'll take... a 6 pack of beer and visit. You can have them. :) I doubt i'll have the time anytime soon to do what i want with them.
