DSW4000 Break-In Period

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I have a question about the break-in period of the DSW MicroPRO 4000. I heard different story between 80 to 200 hours (because it supposedly has a very stiff cone).

Additionally, I would like to know if there is a specific method for breaking-in subs.

Regards,
Onkyo TX-NA5007

LSi15 (Front)
LSi9 (Surround)

DSW MicroPRO 4000 (Sub)

Play it loud and play it soft. Mix up the music and put in some good base cd's.

Hey Thuffman03, thanks for your answer. :)

How about the length of time for the break-in period?

Additionally, I heard that putting a lot of stress (which means deep base) on the subs is not very good until they are broken in. Is this true?

    Thanks

Nope...you may experience subjective improvements, but there's no reason to baby it. You're good to go.

Just hook it up and play it. Don't worry about breakin it in.

Very true! It's being broken in from the time you start using it. Just hook it up and use it normally.
